Getting Started

Taking the first step is often the hardest part.

If you've been thinking about reaching out for a while — and keep finding reasons to wait — you're not alone. Most people do. This page is here to make that next step feel a little clearer.

What to Expect

We begin with a brief consultation call to see if we’re a good fit. It’s a chance to ask questions and get a feel for working together — with no pressure to decide on the spot.

If we move forward, sessions are 55 minutes and held online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

Our first full session is a time to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve already tried, and what you hope might feel different.

There’s no need to have the “right” words.

From there, we move at a pace that fits you. We'll get curious about what you've learned to do to stay safe — and how those patterns show up now in how you relate to yourself and others. We’ll pay attention to what feels most supportive in the moment.

Therapy is collaborative. You don’t have to perform here.

Rates & Insurance

Individual sessions are $185 for 55 minutes.

I am in-network with:

  • Blue Cross of Idaho

  • St. Luke’s Health Plan

  • SelectHealth (SLHP & Commercial plans)

  • PacificSource

  • Mountain Health Co-Op (Engage & Link plans)

  • Aetna (effective June 15, 2026)

If you have a different insurance plan, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Not sure what your plan covers? Your insurance provider can tell you your out-of-network mental health benefits — it's worth a quick call before reaching out.

A limited number of sliding scale spots are available. You’re welcome to ask about current availability.

Good Faith Estimate & No Surprises Act

If you’re not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of therapy services. You’ll receive this estimate before your first session.

To learn more about your rights under the No Surprises Act, you can visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
